According to a new survey from the University of Michigan, parents are very distracted drivers.

Researchers surveyed more than 600 parents about different driving distractions and asked them if they had done any of these things in the past month.

Here's a breakdown of how many said yes to each: 

• Phone Calls – 75 percent (20 percent every trip)
   
• Child Care – 70 percent (25 percent every trip)
   
• Getting Directions – 50 percent (10 percent every trip)
   
• Messing with the Entertainment Center – 50 percent (5 percent every trip)
   
• Texting – 15 percent (1 percent every trip

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie secretly underwent gastric band surgery in February to try to lose weight.

Christie tells The New York Post he had turned 50 and wanted to slim down for his wife and four children. The Republican says he was not motivated by thoughts of running for president.

Christie had the surgery on Feb. 16. A tube was placed around his stomach to restrict the amount of food he can eat. He said the operation lasted 40 minutes and he was home the same afternoon.

Christie has never disclosed his weight but has acknowledged that he has struggled with it.

In February, Christie was angered by comments from a former White House physician about his health. The governor said Dr. Connie Mariano should "shut up."

Yes, that's what Honey Boo Boo star Mama June (aka June Shannon) wore when she got hitched to Mike Thompson (aka Sugar Bear) Sunday in their Georgia backyard. Sugar Bear donned camo pants, by the way.

Friends and family, including Honey Boo Boo herself (Alana Thompson) and big sisters Pumpkin, Chickadee and Chubbs, joined the couple as cameras rolled on the Cinco de Mayo ceremony. June said, "My sister baked the cake, and we spent most of the money on barbecue. We stayed true to our roots and made the focus on the family and my commitment to Sugar Bear. You can definitely plan an event on a budget!"
