A father's fashion advice for his daughter has gone viral.
Utah dad Scott Mackintosh was becoming increasingly concerned about the skimpy outfits his daughter was wearing -- so he came up with a very creative way to get his message across.
"I know it sounds weird to embarrass her, but I wanted her to know she's of great worth," Scott Mackintosh said.
The father of seven donned a pair of Daisy Dukes to teach his daughter a lesson about the virtues of modesty.
When his 19-year-old daughter Myley refused to wear longer shorts to their weekly family night, he took a pair of scissors and turned an old pair of his jeans into a pair of skimpy shorts.
His wife, Becky, said her first reaction was, "Are you kidding me?"
"I was embarrassed, but I was hoping it would be a really good lesson," she said.
"They don't want to see this 52-year-old fat guy walking around in short shorts," Scott Mackintosh said.
But he kept wearing the Daisy Dukes -- even while they played miniature golf.
One day after the images were posted online, they went viral.
