A new study finds women wish to be thinner but don't want to diet, and instead have a myraid of methods to create the illusion of being thinner. The online retailer Marisota conducted the study, and found that two-thirds of women surveyed feel they could lose weight but don't have the time or desire to diet. Four-in-ten of those surveyed said they wear shape-wear, such as Spanx, to look thinner, and 11-percent said they use excess make-up to draw attention away from their body. Other tricks women confessed to using in order to look thinner include: wearing black, applying fake tanner, carrying a large purse, wearing large sunglasses, and putting their hair up to make themselves appear taller
