While we’ve had spellcheck available on our computers for a long time, a German company is developing a pen that will vibrate if you misspell a word or use poor grammar.
The Lernstift pen actually has two functions: Calligraphy Mode, which buzzes you for sloppy handwriting; and Orthography Mode, which vibrates when you spell words wrong or use bad grammar.
While the pen could help kids write better, the idea of getting buzzed when mistakes are made feels like punishment, doesn’t it?
