A new app is now available for iPhone and iPad, it's called TravelNerd, and was developed by the company NerdWallet. The app is designed to help travelers be efficient at tasks centered around airports, such as figuring out the most cost-effective form of transportation to and from the airport, the app even estimates the cost and time each mode of transport will require. Additionally the app will help a user find the most inexpensive parking options around an airport, and allow users to book shuttles and taxis. NerdWallet says they plan to release the app for Android soon. A similar app called GateGuru is available for both iPhone and Android.
