Facebook is partnering with several retailers to test a "Want" button as it continues to experiment with ways to find more streams of revenue.
According to Reuters, a select numbers of users will be able to press a Want button to essentially bookmark products they desire and create "wish lists."
"People will be able to engage with these collections and share things they are interested in with their friends. People can click through and buy these items off of Facebook," Facebook said in a statement, according to Reuters.
The wish-list feature is officially called "Collections" and not all users involved in the test will see a Want button. Some users may see a "Collect" button while others will simply be able to "Like" an item.
Facebook, though, seems committed to eventually making Collections a full feature. According to the report, the 1-billion-member social network will eventually roll out Collections to all its U.S. users.
