The Engineers who helped put Curiosity on Mars have now become a YouTube sensation.

A group of apparent space fans, under the YouTube account Satire, uploaded a spoof video that recasts the moments of Curiosity’s landing as a whimsical parody version of LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It.”

In the video, actors dressed as NASA engineers dance around proclaiming, “We’re NASA and we know it.”

The real engineers involved in the Mars mission seem flattered by the spoof. NASA even tweeted about the video with the account they’re using for Curiosity, @MarsCuriosity.

Bobak “Mohawk Guy” Ferdowsi, who rocketed to fame after the historic landing last week, and Mission Engineer Steve Sell tweeted their appreciation for the video, too.
