Ken Payne, MAGIC's Program Director, has been helping Central Floridians wrap up their workday every Mon-Fri from 3p-7p for the past 12 years.
A native of Philadelphia, Ken has worked at radio stations in Philadelphia, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, Kansas, and West Palm Beach where he programmed the legendary WRMF-FM in the mid 90's before coming to Orlando.
Ken's involved in community events, such as the Empty Bowls Luncheon benefiting the coalition for the homeless, and the Magic Cares for Kids Radiothon benefiting Children's Miracle Network hospitals. Ken loves his iPhone, and wants a new iPad (but is still waiting for his wife to let him get one...LOL). Tech devices, computers and software are among Ken's top leisure activities.
When not working, you'll find Ken tinkering with his many tech toys, or enjoying long walks on the beach (really!) with his wife of 20 years, Chrissy. Together with other Family members they own a home in Acadia National Park, Maine that serves as their cool vacation getaway in the hot summer months.
