I probably enjoyed the London Olympic Games more so than any other to date. That could be because I am enamored with British culture or that I am finally mature enough to enjoy it.

Whatever the case I would love to own a bit of the 2012 London Olympic Games and now I can.

If you're suffering from Olympics withdrawal, like me, you could still get your fix. The London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Limited (LOCOG), is hoping to earn back some of the billions they spent on the Games by auctioning off memorabilia from the past two weeks. The auction includes put thousands of mementos, from javelins hurled inside the Olympic Stadium to the huge Wenlock mascot planted in Westminster Abbey. The rim used in Men's Gold Medal Basketball Game is going for about $1,500 while a complete Mary Poppins outfit worn in the Opening Ceremony has already sold for about $500.
