Dave CollinsOriginally hailing from the Midwest, (Lincoln, Illinois to be exact…GO RAILERS!) Dave has taken on the task of waking up friends on morning shows for the past two decades!
After spending a couple of harsh winters in the Philadelphia area, Dave was called to Magic 107.7 to host the morningshow.
"I certainly enjoy being part of a station that is so connected to its community. One thing that's really appealing about Magic 107.7 is that not only do we play great music and keep listeners informed about local events, but that the station becomes "involved" with the community on a personal level", says Collins.
"The shows that I enjoy being a part of have always been designed so that my kids can listen to them as well, and finding a station like Magic was definitely my main objective. It's exciting to find a community as well as a station that fits so well with my own lifestyle!"
Dave is the single (but still looking for Mrs. Right!) father of two wonderful children (Tyler, 18 and Emily, 16) Tyler is a sophmore at Purdue majoring in Pre-Med and Emily is in her Senior year of highschool.
Not only does Dave wake up Central Floridians every weekday but also finds time to host local celebrity events, produce national voice-overs and run his own broadcast consulting firm. He also works with several local charities including "The Make-a-Wish Foundation" , MDA, “The American Heart Association” and "The Childrens Miracle Network".
Dave Collins can be heard each weekday from 5am-10am on Magic 107.7 FM in Orlando and also 5-9am on Light 92.1 FM in Sarasota, Florida
