The City of Sanford and Federal Trust Bank present Star Spangled Sanford on the RiverWalk!
Pack up the kids, grab the sunscreen and your favorite lawn chair and join us Sunday, July 4th for Star Spangled Sanford. Thrill to a stupendous fireworks show over Lake Monroe at 9:15pm complete with a musical sound track sure to bring out your patriotic best Why get sand in your shorts at the beach when you can enjoy a picnic on a grassy lawn while the kids play in Central Florida’s largest Splash pad and new Ft Mellon play area.
The Ft. Mellon Park Splash Pad will be open to 8:00pm. $2 all day admission!
There will be a food court with your holiday favorites like Barb-B-Q, hotdogs hamburgers, and all sorts of treats.
Important Information:
- No personal fireworks of any kind.
- No pets after 7pm
- Coolers allowed
- All bags and containers subject to search.
Driving Directions:
- From I-4 (Orlando): Take Exit 101C (SR 46) turn right onto SR 46. Continue straight on SR 46 (turns into First St.) about 3.5 miles.
- From I-4 (Daytona): Take Exit 101 (SR 46) turn left onto SR 46. Continue straight on SR 46 (turns into First St.) about 3.5 miles.
- From 417 (Orlando): Take Exit 49 (427/Ronald Reagan Blvd.) Turn right onto CR 427. Continue straight about 3.5 miles (turns into Sanford Ave.)
